Matching a brake kit to your Q5

On the Audi Q5, you can choose genuine Audi calipers: Akebono makes the front ones and Brembo the rear ones. Genuine Cadillac calipers made by Brembo are offered on both axles. Every kit mounts on brackets made for this car.

Front kits come in 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-piston versions from TTSPORT, Brembo, Alcon, Akebono, AP Racing and Endless; we recommend 330–420 mm front rotors. Rear kits are 4-piston, from TTSPORT, Brembo, Alcon and AP Racing, with 380–410 mm rotors. Rotors are high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic, and both axles include a track kit among the street kits.

On the recommended rotors, the smallest front kit needs 17-inch wheels, some need 18, and most need 19 to 21 inches. Rear kits need 19 to 21 inches. Spoke shape and offset change clearance as well, so if you are unsure, send us your wheel details.
