Picking brakes for the Audi S4
Kits are matched to both axles of the Audi S4 (B9, 2018–2024). Front calipers from AP Racing, Akebono, Alcon, Brembo, Endless and TTSPORT have 4, 6, 8 or 10 pistons, and we recommend 330–420 mm front rotors. Rear kits use 4-piston calipers from AP Racing, Alcon, Brembo or TTSPORT with 380–410 mm rotors.
- Front: at least 17-inch wheels with the recommended rotor, though most kits need 19 inches or more, up to 21.
- Rear: 19 to 21 inches with the recommended rotor.
Spoke shape and offset also affect clearance, so send your wheel details if unsure. Every kit mounts on brackets made for the S4. Some use genuine Audi calipers, made by Akebono at the front and by Brembo at the rear, and others use genuine Cadillac calipers made by Brembo. Rotors come in carbon ceramic or high-carbon steel. Most kits are street kits, and track kits are listed for both axles.
