Choosing a big brake kit for your X3 xDrive30i
The BMW X3 xDrive30i (2018–2023) is matched with front kits from AP Racing, Akebono, Alcon, Brembo, Endless and TTSPORT, using 4- to 10-piston calipers and 345–440 mm rotors on this car. Brembo and TTSPORT rear kits use 4-piston calipers with 355–410 mm rotors.
With the rotor we recommend for this car, front kits need 18-inch wheels at minimum, mostly 19 to 22 inches; rear kits take 18- to 21-inch wheels. Spoke shape and offset matter too; tell us your wheels.
Nearly all kits sit on brackets made for the X3; the exception, an OEM-style direct-mount front kit, bolts to the factory caliper mounts. Genuine calipers appear as well: genuine Audi calipers made by Akebono plus genuine BMW, Cadillac or Ford calipers made by Brembo up front, genuine Audi or Cadillac calipers made by Brembo at the rear. Rotor choices: high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic. Street use is the norm; a few front kits and a rear kit suit the track.
