Front and rear brake kits for your X5

These kits are matched to the BMW X5 xDrive40i 48V (G05, US spec, 2023). Up front you can choose AP Racing, Akebono, Alcon, Brembo, Endless or TTSPORT, with calipers from 4 to 10 pistons; we recommend 345–440 mm front rotors. At the back, Brembo and TTSPORT supply 4-piston kits with 355–410 mm rotors.

Plan your wheels around the rotors we recommend: front kits then need 18 to 22 inches, and most need 19 or more. Rear kits need 18- to 21-inch wheels, mostly 19 inches or larger. Spoke shape and offset count too, so send your wheel details if in doubt.

Nearly every kit ships with brackets made for the X5; OEM-style direct mount bolts to the factory caliper mounts. Some kits use genuine calipers from other performance cars: BMW, Cadillac or Ford calipers made by Brembo, or Audi calipers made by Akebono or Brembo. Rotors are high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic. Most are street kits, with track options on both axles.

Do X5 kits come with mounting brackets?
Bracket-mount kits do. They include brackets made for the X5 along with calipers, rotors, pads, braided brake lines and mounting hardware for a single axle. The front list also has an OEM-style direct mount option, which bolts to the factory caliper mounts.
What is the smallest wheel I can run on my X5 with a front kit?
With the rotors we recommend, front kits need at least an 18-inch wheel. Some work with 18 inches, most need 19 or more, and the largest need 22. Spoke shape and offset also matter, so tell us your wheels and we check fitment before we build the kit.
Can I add a rear big brake kit to the BMW X5?
Yes. Rear kits use Brembo or TTSPORT 4-piston calipers with 355–410 mm rotors. With those rotors they need 18- to 21-inch wheels, and most need 19 inches or more. Genuine Audi or Cadillac calipers made by Brembo are among the rear choices.
