Big brake kit options for the Malibu

On the Chevrolet Malibu (2011–2018), front kits from AP Racing, Brembo and TTSPORT pair 4-piston, 6-piston or 8-piston calipers with 330–405 mm rotors. TTSPORT also offers a rear kit with 4-piston calipers and 355 mm rotors. Every kit for this car is set up for street driving, with your choice of high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic rotors.

Mounting is mostly by bracket, and the brackets are made for the Malibu. There is also an OEM-style direct-mount front kit that bolts straight to the factory caliper mounts.

On wheel size: with the rotor we recommend for this car, only the smallest front kit fits a 17-inch wheel, a few more fit 18 inches, and the rest need 19 to 21 inches. The rear kit needs 18-inch wheels. Offset and spoke shape also affect clearance, so send us your wheel details and we will check fitment before we build your kit.

Common questions — Chevrolet Malibu

What wheels do I need for a Malibu front kit?
With the rotor we recommend for this car, the smallest front kit fits 17-inch wheels, a few fit 18 inches, and most need 19 to 21 inches. Spoke shape and offset matter as well, so send us your wheel size and offset and we will check before building.
Is there a rear kit for the Chevrolet Malibu?
Yes. TTSPORT offers a rear kit for this car with 4-piston calipers and 355 mm rotors, on brackets made for the Malibu. It needs 18-inch wheels with the rotor we recommend for this car, and the rotors come in high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic.
How does the direct-mount kit for the Malibu differ from the bracket kits?
The OEM-style direct-mount front kit bolts to the factory caliper mounts. The other kits sit on brackets made for the Malibu, and those brackets ship with the kit. Both types arrive complete with two calipers, two rotors, pads and braided brake lines.
How long until a Malibu kit ships?
Kits are built to order and ship in about 15 business days. If a kit has no online price, request a quote and we reply by email within one business day. Tell us your car and wheels so we can check fitment before we build.
