Bracket-mount and direct-mount kits
Most GWM kits use brackets made for each model. A few are OEM-style direct-mount kits that bolt onto the factory caliper mounts, so you need no adapter brackets. Piston counts run from 4 to 10. Almost all kits go on the front axle, though rear kits are offered.
An 18-inch or larger wheel suits most kits. If you run 17-inch wheels, some kits still clear them, and the smallest work with 16-inch wheels. A few need 19-inch or larger. Many GWM kits offer carbon ceramic rotors besides high-carbon steel. Nearly every kit is a street kit, and a few are made for off-road vehicles and pickups.
