Brake kits for the Grand Cherokee WK2

Your Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2, 2012–2020) can take kits front and rear. Front kits come from AP Racing, Akebono, Brembo and TTSPORT with 6- or 10-piston calipers, and we recommend 330–420 mm rotors. Rear kits pair Brembo or TTSPORT 4-piston calipers with 355–380 mm rotors.

Using the recommended rotors, front kits need 17- to 21-inch wheels; only the smallest works with 17 inches, and most need 19 or more. Rear kits need 18 or 19 inches, mostly 19. Clearance also depends on spoke shape and offset, so send your wheel details if you are unsure.

Every kit mounts on brackets made for the Grand Cherokee. Up front, genuine Audi calipers made by Akebono are also available. Rotors come in high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic. Front kits are street kits; the rear list also has a track option.

Common questions — Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2

Which wheels do I need for a front kit on my Grand Cherokee?
With the rotors we recommend, front kits need 17- to 21-inch wheels. A 17-inch wheel suits only the smallest, and most need 19 inches or more. Spoke shape and offset matter too, so send your wheel details and we check fitment before we build.
Are rear brake kits available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Yes. Rear kits use Brembo or TTSPORT 4-piston calipers with 355–380 mm rotors on brackets made for this car. With those rotors they need 18- or 19-inch wheels, mostly 19. Most are street kits, and there is a track option as well.
Can I get genuine OEM calipers on the Grand Cherokee?
At the front, yes. Front kits include genuine Audi calipers made by Akebono, fitted on brackets made for this car. No genuine caliper option is listed for the rear, where kits use Brembo or TTSPORT calipers.
What is in a Grand Cherokee kit, and when does it ship?
Each kit is complete for a single axle: calipers, rotors, pads, braided brake lines and mounting hardware, with brackets made for the car. Kits are built to order and ship in about 15 business days. Some rear kits have no online price; request a quote and we reply by email within one business day.
