Choosing a big brake kit for the GLE 53

Every kit for the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 (2020–2026) is a street setup on brackets made for this car, with high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic rotors.

  • Front: AP Racing, Akebono, Alcon, Brembo and TTSPORT; 6-, 8- or 10-piston calipers; 355–420 mm rotors.
  • Rear: AP Racing, Brembo and TTSPORT; 4-piston calipers; 380–410 mm rotors.

You can also choose genuine calipers. Up front, there are Audi calipers made by Akebono and Cadillac calipers made by Brembo; at the rear, Audi or Cadillac calipers made by Brembo.

With our recommended rotors, the smallest front kit needs 18-inch wheels and the others need 19 to 21 inches. Rear kits need 19 to 21 inches as well. Offset and spoke shape matter too, so send us your wheel details when in doubt.
