Big brake kits that fit the Mercedes-Benz GLS

For the Mercedes-Benz GLS (X167, 2019–2026), front kits come from AP Racing, Akebono, Alcon, Brembo and TTSPORT with 6-piston, 8-piston or 10-piston calipers; rear kits come from AP Racing, Brembo and TTSPORT with 4-piston calipers. On this car we recommend 355–420 mm front rotors and 380–410 mm rear rotors.

Every GLS kit is a street kit, with rotors in high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic. Most sit on brackets made for this car; the exception is an OEM-style direct-mount kit that bolts to the factory caliper mounts. Some bracket kits are built around genuine Mercedes-AMG, Cadillac, Ford or Audi calipers made by Brembo or Akebono.

With the rotor we recommend for this car, the smallest front kit needs 18-inch wheels and the others 19 to 21 inches; rear kits also need 19 to 21 inches. Spoke shape and offset change what actually clears, so send us your wheel details if you are unsure.

Common questions — Mercedes-Benz GLS X167

What wheel size do I need for a GLS front kit?
With the rotor we recommend for this car, the smallest front kit needs 18-inch wheels; the others need 19 to 21 inches. Rear kits need 19 to 21 inches. Spoke shape and offset also matter, so send us your wheel size and offset and we will check before we build.
Can I get a rear kit for the Mercedes-Benz GLS?
Yes. Rear kits from AP Racing, Brembo and TTSPORT use 4-piston calipers with 380–410 mm rotors on this car. They mount on brackets made for the GLS, and some are built around genuine Audi or Cadillac calipers made by Brembo.
Are there carbon ceramic rotors for the GLS?
Yes. Front and rear kits for the GLS are available with carbon ceramic or high-carbon steel rotors. Tell us which you want when you order or request a quote, and we will build the kit to match.
What is included with a GLS kit and when does it ship?
Each kit covers one axle and includes two calipers, two rotors, pads, braided brake lines and mounting hardware, with brackets when needed. Kits are built to order and ship in about 15 business days; quotes for unpriced kits go out by email within one business day.
