Upgrading the brakes on a Nissan Murano
The Nissan Murano (2015–2021) gets front kits from AP Racing, Alcon, Brembo and TTSPORT, with 4-, 6-, 8- or 10-piston calipers and 330–420 mm rotors on this car, and a Brembo 4-piston rear kit with 380 mm rotors. Front rotors are offered in high-carbon steel, racing high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic; rear rotors in high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic. Nearly all are street kits, with a track-oriented front kit among them.
With the rotor we recommend for this car, a few front kits clear 17-inch wheels, some fit 18-inch wheels, and most need 19 to 21 inches. The rear kit needs 19-inch wheels. Because spoke shape and offset also affect clearance, send us your wheel details if unsure.
All Murano kits are bracket-mount, with brackets made for this car. Some front kits use genuine Cadillac or Ford calipers made by Brembo, and the rear kit uses genuine Cadillac calipers made by Brembo, each on Murano-specific brackets.
