Genuine Porsche calipers
Some kits carry genuine Porsche calipers made by Brembo and Akebono. They include the 6-piston front caliper from the 911 GT3 and the 10-piston front caliper from the 911 Turbo S. The range covers front and rear axles, with calipers from 4 to 10 pistons on brackets made for your Porsche.
Plan for 19-inch or larger wheels with most Porsche kits. Some kits fit 18-inch wheels; 17-inch rims work only with the smallest. Rotor material ranges from high-carbon steel to carbon ceramic, plus a racing high-carbon steel option. Nearly all kits are street kits, and the rest are track kits for circuit race cars.
