Picking a big brake kit for your 86

The kits above are matched to the Toyota 86 (ZN6, 2013–2019). Front kits come from AP Racing, Brembo, Endless and TTSPORT with 4- or 6-piston calipers, and we recommend 330–355 mm front rotors. Rear kits from AP Racing, Brembo and TTSPORT use 4-piston calipers on 345–355 mm rotors.

With the rotor we recommend for this car, a few front kits need only 17-inch wheels and the rest need 18 inches. Rear kits need 18-inch wheels. Spoke shape and offset also affect clearance, so send us your wheel details if you are unsure.

All kits come with brackets made for the 86. Rotors come in high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic, plus racing high-carbon steel up front. Most kits are street kits, and a few front kits are set up for track use.

Common questions — Toyota 86 ZN6

Will a big brake kit fit my 86 with 17-inch wheels?
A few front kits will, when built with the rotor we recommend for this car; the other front kits need 18-inch wheels, and so do rear kits. Send your wheel details, since spoke shape and offset matter too, and we check fitment before we build.
Which rotor sizes do you recommend for the Toyota 86?
Front kits on this car use 330–355 mm rotors, and rear kits use 345–355 mm rotors. Front calipers have 4 or 6 pistons; rear calipers have 4.
Which rotor materials can I get for an 86 that sees track days?
Front kits offer high-carbon steel, racing high-carbon steel and carbon ceramic rotors, and a few front kits are set up for track use. Rear kits come with high-carbon steel or carbon ceramic rotors and are built for the street.
How long does a kit for the 86 take to ship?
About 15 business days, since every kit is built to order. Each kit covers a full axle: calipers and rotors for both sides, pads, braided brake lines and mounting hardware. A few front kits are quote-only; we answer quote requests by email within one business day.
