Matching a big brake kit to your Atlas
Front kits for the Volkswagen Atlas (2017–2021) span 286–420 mm rotors on this car, so check wheel clearance first. With the rotor we recommend for this car:
- the smallest rotors clear 16- or 17-inch wheels;
- others fit 18-inch wheels;
- most need 19 to 21 inches;
- rear kits need 19-inch wheels.
Spoke shape and offset change the answer too, so send your wheel details. Front calipers come from TTSPORT, Brembo, Endless, Alcon, Akebono and AP Racing with 4, 6, 8 or 10 pistons; rear kits are Brembo 4-piston on 380 mm rotors. Rotor choices are high-carbon steel, racing high-carbon steel (front only) or carbon ceramic. Most are street kits; a few front kits suit track use.
Bracket kits ship with brackets made for the Atlas; an OEM-style direct-mount kit bolts to the factory caliper mounts. Genuine OEM calipers are offered: Akebono-made Audi calipers and Brembo-made Cadillac or Ford calipers up front, Brembo-made Audi or Cadillac calipers at the rear.
