Which big brake kit suits your Tiguan
Front kits for the Volkswagen Tiguan (2017–2020) come from Brembo, Alcon, AP Racing, Akebono, Endless and TTSPORT, with 4- to 10-piston calipers and 286–420 mm rotors on this car. Rear kits from Alcon and Brembo use 4-piston calipers with 380 mm rotors.
A few front kits fit 16- or 17-inch wheels with the rotor we recommend for this car, several fit 18-inch wheels and most need 19 to 21 inches; rear kits need 19-inch wheels. Spoke shape and offset count too; send your wheel details.
Kits use brackets made for the Tiguan, except an OEM-style direct-mount front kit bolted to the factory caliper mounts. Up front, some kits use genuine Audi calipers made by Akebono and genuine Ford or Cadillac calipers made by Brembo; at the rear, genuine Cadillac or Audi calipers made by Brembo. Rotors are high-carbon steel, racing high-carbon steel (front only) or carbon ceramic. Most are street kits; a few front kits are set up for the track.
