Brake kit choices for the 991-generation 911
If you drive a Porsche 911 from the 991 years (2012–2019), you can upgrade the front, the rear or both. Front kits come from AP Racing, Akebono, Brembo and TTSPORT with 6-, 8- or 10-piston calipers, and we recommend 378–420 mm front rotors for this car. Rear kits are Brembo 4-piston sets on 380 mm rotors.
Wheels: at those rotor sizes the front kits need 19- to 21-inch wheels, and the rear kits need 19 inches. Spoke shape and offset change the clearance too, so send us your wheel details if you are not sure.
All kits mount on brackets made for the 911. Genuine Porsche calipers made by Brembo or Akebono are on the list, as are genuine Cadillac calipers made by Brembo. Front rotors are offered in carbon ceramic, high-carbon steel or racing high-carbon steel; rear rotors in carbon ceramic or high-carbon steel. Most kits are street setups, and one front kit is built for track use.
